CIRCULATION POLICIES

How to Get a Library Card:

Adults (Age 18 and older): Must have photo identification (Driver's license or picture I.D. from Department of Public Safety, and proof of current address

Children (Age 17 and younger): Must be able to write first and last name, must be accompanied by parent with above identification if child does not have the same identification.

There is no charge for a library card. You will be charged $3.00 for a replacement card. Please notify the library immediately if your card is lost or stolen.

Loan Periods:

Books: 3 weeks
CD: 3 weeks
Audio Cassettes: 3 weeks
Video Cassettes and DVDs: 5 days
Framed Art Prints: 6 weeks

Renewals:

Materials may be renewed by telephone (655-7321). Books and audio cassettes may be renewed twice unless the item is on reserve for someone else. Videos, CD's, DVD's, and framed art prints may be renewed one time.

Charges:

Overdue items: Books, CD's, audio cassettes--$.10 per day per item
Video cassettes and DVD's--$1 per day per video Framed art prints--$.50 per day per item

Lost or damaged material:

Replacement cost plus a $5.00 processing fee for each item
