The Suzanne & Joel Sugg Community Room is a 3,000 square-foot special-events venue located on the 3rd floor of Stephens Central Library. The room holds up to 542 people standing, 250 auditorium seating, 150 for meal service, and 130 for seated presentations.
Civic, cultural, charitable, or educational gatherings, and events that fulfill the library's recreational and intellectual roles potentially may not be assessed rental fees for using the space. The Community Room is also available for private events and to for-profit organizations for a fee.
The lovely adjoining rooftop terrace may also be reserved. The rooftop outdoor space offers seating for about 80 and has a capacity of 307. Tables, chairs, and umbrellas are available for use.
Tours of the space are available by appointment and are required before your reservation will be confirmed. Schedule ahead of time to secure a tour by calling 325-657-8002 or emailing Amy Dennis.
